 Tommy Lindley, Certified Veterinary Assistant (CVA)
Tommy was raised with farming and ranching parents. He still lives on the same farm/ranch his parents worked on as he was growing up. This land has been in his family over 100 years. Tommy worked 18 years as an Investigator for the Texas Animal Health Commission (TAHC), a state agency that regulates the livestock industry in Texas.
After retirement from the TAHC, Tommy worked as a Cruelty Investigator for the Dallas Humane Society in the large animal (hoof stock)division. Returning to Samnorwood (north of Childress) in 2002, Tommy had his own construction company.
In 2006, Connie and Tommy decided to open up Critter Care Vet Clinic in Childress, TX. Tommy started the reconstruction of the buildings and kennels in April 2006 and the clinic was in full operation by August 2006. It was amazing as there were customers coming into the clinic while it was still under construction. Tommy wears many hats at Critter Care from being a Veterinary Assistant to fixing whatever needs mending. The work and clients at Critter Care intrigue Tommy as every day demonstrates something new and different working at the vet clinic.
